Les Baer Target Master

I have a Les BAER Target Master in .45 acp with a low serial no.
( LBD 267) in excellent condition with less that 50 rds. through it and it has the 1.5 inch group guarantee...can anyone tell me what it is worth as it maybe on it's way to being a 'collector' due to the low serial no....thanks ....JR

    HI JR, The low serial is probably common in the Les Baer because they are custom made guns and fairly expensive. I had an IPSC that was a low number and a couple others I seen were now also. He probably doesn't make alot.

    Not familiar with the "target master", but the "ultimate master" sells used for about $1500.00 in LN condition. New price would be a few hundred more then Clark or Rock River, but they don't appear to get any additional dollars in used condition. They are not a Giles, so there's no reason to believe these are collectable, just customized good shooters.

    You can look these up in GB, quite a few were sold over the years.

    Hello IMHO GEEGUY has given the correct information . These pistols are semi custom made by the GROUP of Les Baer pistol - smiths They do make some good pistols BUT most Bulls-EYE shooters will want to test this on a Ransom Rest and then and only then would be willing to give you top dollar and then and only then if You could Ever get it to shoot with that magic 1.5 " group. Believe me you can advertise 1.5 " groups but to back it up is along shot Used guns that are Target only guns don't bring good money unless they were built by one of the OLD MASTERS PISTOL-SMITH Like Chow, Skocky, Giles, or Clark, sort of like paintings the value go up when the ARTIST dies or stops working . On top of that even the pistols by the old masters would not bring as much as say a PRE WAR colt 45 in the original box with paperwork
