Factory info on a Deluxe 1886

I'm looking for some help on a Win. M 1886 deluxe TD.with the serial number 145369 to see how it left the Win. factory and where it was shipped to...Thanks Pete

    Your 1886 should be researchable by the Cody Firearms Museum Records Service. However, it is highly unlikely that an archive letter will contain "shipped to" information, but you will be able to verify your Model 1886's original configuration.

    Here is a link to a sticky at the top of this forum (serial number references) and if you look near the bottom of the first post you'll see the contact information for old Winchester research and records.

    Barrel Length: Not listed (indicating a standard 24")
    Trigger: Plain

    Sights: Not listed (indicating standard open sights)
    Magazine: ?
    Butt: Shotgun-Rubber
    Features: Takedown
    Date In: 1-5-1909
    Date Shipped: 1-6-1909
    Order #: 189736

    There is no shipping destination information.

    They created that option a few years ago (after I mentioned to them that it would be a beneficial feature).
