I am thinking about buying a Ruger Mini 14 223 , is there any thing I should be looking for in this gun before I buy?

Will the new Ranch models 223 also chamber the 5.56 NATO?

...No idea what GB stands for but, the "other info" tough little guns, and reliable, the Mini & Ranch.

...IF your asking to decide to buy one or not; if dinner plate accuracy is acceptable at a short 100 yards, by all means get one...[;)]

The Mini-14GB model is a semi-automatic variant for police and military sale with the additional factory options of a short barrel, folding paratrooper stock, flash hider and a bayonet lug.

they usually cost more but all in cosmetics not function.
