WHAT KIND OF ACCURACY CAN I EXPECT FROM MY SAVAGE 110-30-06

  depends on what kind of eyesight you have.[;)] seriously in my 50+ years I have only met a few people who could outshoot their rifles, most owners will never be able to, with the obvious exception to a few used and worn out rifles. unless you are into some type of long range target shooting, it should do all that is expected for the average hunting and plinking shooter.

  Well, this is an open ended question, but you should be able to find a factory load accurate enough to suit anyone's expectations. I personally feel the Savage barrel is a little light for optimum accuracy with the bigger calibers but that's just my opinion. There are so many factory loads in this caliber it will take a lot of shooting to try them all. If you shoot your rifle that much, you should be able to shoot it well.

  My Savage 114 (which is just a dolled-up 110) averaged 1.14" for eight 5-shot groups with a handload consisting of the 180 gr. Sierra spitzer and IMR 4831 powder. It is also quite fast over the chronograph screens compared to my other 06's. Hope this helps.

  I get 1 1/2 inch groups with my Savage 110 muzzleloader.

  Savage 110 .270 About 2" at 125 yards with factory ammo. But will heat up fast (three shots fairy quickly) and start stringing.
