Hesse Info

The Big Ravioli
I'm looking for some information on a Hesse AR10 Lower? What's the best parts kit for it? Armalite or DBMS? Does anyone know?

    No point in throwing good money after bad. Hesse made junk (which is why they went out of business.)

    Cut your losses & buy something else. (Don't buy Vulcan or Blackthorne either, as that is the same company.)

    I thought the AR15 platform was Hesse's bad note? I was told the AR10's are the only good thing they made?

    They, Hess/vulcan/blackthorn NEVER made anything good, just google search anyone of those names and you will have more reading to do then you have time for.

    Why not just buy a lower from a maker that is known to be good? How much money do you really save by buying a POS? There is only one thing worse then buying a questionable item for a semi high price. That is finding out that item is a POS and then having to spend money on a good one anyhow.

    Both nmyers, and Nwcid have valid points. The group at Hesse/Vulcan/Blackthorn have changed their name of business three times, trying to outrun quality issues. It takes a real idiot to screw up a build on an AK-47, but they managed to do just that....several times. It does not matter what it is...AR-15, CTME, AK-47, FAL, or AR-10...they can and do screw it up.

    Save yourself the time and headache, and get rid of it, and get one from DPMS, RRA, or OLYMPIC....
