    You no doubt have answered this question before.
    What is the process for taking pictures , assigning a jpg address and storing. I have done it in the past using Image expert and Free Coffee Cup but a change of address and computer have me at a loss. Your help or direction will be appreciated. dave burr

    Photobucket is free unless you use massive amounts of bandwidth. As a normal person posting pics you should never hit that point.

    Ok, So I joined photobucket, now how do I post pictures to different websites?

    After you upload your pics to PB then just post the link to the pic here. Here is how to upload, http://tutorials.photobucket.com/tutorial_188.html

    For posting a pic and having the pic show up here you need to copy then IMG link and post it here. On the pic on PB it should have 4 options under it that say "Email & IM", "Direct link", "HTML code", and "IMG code"

    Copy the address under IMG code, it should look like this, DSC06723.jp with out the space in the IMG box.


    If you do that then you should get:

    DSC06723.jpg

    I'm not sure where or what you're reading but all of the photo hosting sites that I listed are free hosting for your photographs.

    If you're having trouble understanding the directions, ask questions. The directions take more time to read than it takes to actually post a photograph.

    Yes, Imageshack is free, too. (Click on the WHAT? button on the bottom of the page, & that explains you only have to pay if using a huge amount of space.)
