7.62x39mm lapua ammo in 30rd boxs about what is it worth? Brass case reloadable?

  I dont know what it trades for, but I am strongly guessing no.
  My 7.62*39 work best with the cheapest stuff (laquer coated steel).
  You could make theoretically perfect bullets, and you would still be limited by sloppy tolerances and poor sight (comparatively)
  
  I am not dogging aks, but Ill save the match ammo for a scoped precision rig

  To answer the question:
  
  a. It sounds crazy, but in the current climate, you might be able to get $35-40 a box for this stuff.
  
  b. Yes. Not only are the brass cases reloadable, but many consider them the best available cases for reloading that caliber.
  
  
  I agree that for most shooters it doesn't make sense to pay over $1 a round for "blaster" ammo for their AK or SKS.
  
  But not everyone using this round is shooting it from an AK. There are bolt-action rifles chambered for it, and this ammo would be ideal for them. Some people have custom "accurized" AKs, and would appreciate good ammo. Match grade ammo will help accuracy in ANY gun, even those without high tolerances.
  
  Lastly, reloaders will appreciate this ammo for the cases, even if it doesn't improve accuracy.
