Stock set for Winchester Model 12

I have an old Minnesota Highway Patrol Model 12 in 12ga. Would like to know if there is anyone who makes synthetic stock and forearm sets for these? If not is there another model stock set that will fit with minimal modification? I will go with wood if I have to, who makes a good wood set? Thanks.

  I don't recall any synthetic stock sets for the Model 12 but I can't state definitively that they don't exist. Maybe some of the Model 12 experts will chime in. Be patient though.
  
  If you can't find a synthetic set, you can coat a wood stock set with a product like 'boat glass' which is available at many of the mart-type stores and is used to repair fiberglass boats. This is a thinner liquid resin as opposed to the thicker epoxy we use for bedding rifles. In the thinned state you can brush it on the wood, let it dry and sand smooth. More than one coat can be applied. Then simply paint it the color of your choice.
