Interarms Silver Cup

I stopped by the local gun store and spied a old 45 Auto in the back of the case, and asked to see it. He pulled out a old looking InterArms-Silver Cup, with a Remington Rand slide on it.
It seems nice and tight, and I figure someone put some parts together. I paid for it and when my permit comes back with it on it, I'll pick it up... and post some photo's..
My main concern is I have no clue as to the Silver Cup part of it..... for $350 I doubt I did wrong though .......

  Interarms sold a lot of different stuff under their name between the 70's and the late 90's, when their owner died, and the company was folded up. Most of it was foreign, but they actually fabricated some of their own guns here in the States.
  
  I don't recognize the name "Silver Cup"? You might look it over carefully to see if it is marked with a Country of Origin, as required by U.S. law on imported manufactured goods.
  
  If it isn't, chances are it was made by one of the aftermarket 45 Auto manufacturers here in the States, for Interarms. Starting in the 80's a bunch of small shops, here in the U.S. started cranking out 45 autos. They all pretty much went out of business when Springfield started bringing in their Brazilian made 45's.

  My first 45 was a Silver Cup. It was well assembled a fired every time I pulled the trigger. They usually built the frame and put on excess GI parts.
  It is a shooter, there will be no increase in value, it is a good functional firearm.
  I did several upgrades to mine that I wouldn't do to a higher value piece. I think I paid about $150 but that was 30 or so years ago.

  Can't go wrong with a good shooter for 350...imo..nambu
