Bolt for Mannlicher Schoenaeur Model 1961 MCA
I'm looking for a bolt for my Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1961 MCA. I've been searching for months with no luck. Any suggestions or leads?

I am an aficionado of Mannlicher-Schoenauer rifles, currently having 4 of them, including 2 Model 1961 MCA's. I have found any parts to be a problem. I do know of an Austrian company which has parts, including bolts, listed as spares. They seem VERY expensive, for example a Mannlicher-Schoenauer bolt at 482 Euros, current rate of exchange makes that about $575, before shipping! The link is:
www.eschoder.com Another suggestion might be to buy one that is in less-than-collector condition, to get the bolt, and then you'll have spare parts to sell that might reimburse you for that purchase. One wonders who might have boought up all the old Stoeger parts inventory. Numrich has only a few things, but they are always worth a call as parts come and go all the time, and aren't always listed.0 -
A look at the Austrian website is a good example of why never to leave
