    I have used Taurus Customer Service and found it to be slow, but at least they were not jerks like the guys at HK were when I called.

    Yeah, their customer service is painfully slow. I sent them my .357 to be repaired & they had it 5 weeks. Still, they do offer a lifetime warranty and my gun works fine since I got it back. I was thinking about a 9mm Millenium Pro for the wife, does anybody have any experience with these?

    I personally dont care for the millennium series. If you can afford it, the best compact 9mm is the new Walther PPS IMHO

    I have seen Milleniums in the past have jamming issues and the early ones had frame cracking issues. The Walther PPS is smaller, built to a higher standard, and quite a good feeling gun.

    That is for sure. HK service is terrible and they are jerks.

    I don't have experience with the 9mm, but I DO have the PT145, and the 24/7 OSS, and I love them both! I have yet to put more than 200 rounds through either. I've read about quite a few complaints about Taurus "customer service" but I've yet to need to contact them. I may be lucky, but I think Taurus makes a pretty darn good firearm.
    I own 8 different models of Taurus handguns from the newest .327 federal magnum,an Ultra-lite "Judge", a total Titanium snub-nose .357, down to an '80? model 607 .357, a PT99 9mm, a Raging Bull .454 cassul.
    I have not had the first problem with ANY of these that a good cleaning won't cure.
