7.62 x 51 DM 41 weichkem

I assume 41 means 1941 and corrosive which doesn't bother me, anybody know of the quality. Since it's German I'd suspect pretty good. Value?

Nah, the 41 would represent the plant it was made at or manufaturer. What else does it have besides the 41?

I'm thinking:
Volkseigene Betrieb (VEB) Mechanische Werkst?tten K?nigswartha, East Germany
and not corrosive.

yep I got your comment I wasn't thinking clearly the 308 was not really available till the late 40's for the military

The ammo is West German mfg, the DM 41 is probably the model #. The year date of mfg is in the Lot # shown on the box or case. IE as the above auction shows "68" or 1968 as the year of mfg.

The DAG ammo currently available is getting some poor reviews on falfiles due to the condition of the brass....
