How long is it taking...

**EDIT** - I can say it is taking about 3 weeks! My piece came into the shop today and I pick it up tomorrow!




Hi folks -

I just ordered a S&W Magnum 500 Performance Center revolver.

Do any of you have any idea how long it is taking to receive Performance Center firearms?

I can't wait to get this piece, it will be my birthday present, Christmas present and Anniversary present for this year.

If I like this one, next year I'll pick up the Performance Center M&P 8 shot .357.

I just like wheel guns I guess.

Thank you for all the great information that I have read here - you guys really know your stuff, and I appreciate the no-nonsense format of this forum.

    I requested e-mail notification from a distributor on a proformance center .357 well over a year ago. Gave up.

    If you pick up the model 327PC 2" you will look like this:

    What a fun revolver! My shop had 2 in stock last October, so I brought one home.

    Thank you for the replies.

    Today I received a reply from S&W customer service.

    Mark Rossini replied that it could take as long as a month to receive my new revolver due to high demand.

    Cool! It should be here in a week or two!

    It is really a shame that you will have to tie up a bunch of time on Saturday being sure it works OK. I will bet you hate that.
