value of a firearm

Hi; I own a Remington Model XP100 221 Remington Fireball serial #B7504312 with a Williams rear sight on it. The condition of the XP100 would be between 90 and 95; it really is in excellent condition. I am seeing some pretty wild prices on this firearm on different auctions; ranging $700.00 to $1295.00. In your opinion what would be a realistic price that I could sell this for, if I decided to do so?

  Best way I know of to tell what something WILL sell for, is to look at what is HAS sold for recently. Go over to auction side, search for xp 100, CLOSED in last 90 days, see what you get that looks close to yours (claiber, condition, type stock, scopes, etc) Seem to top out at around 800, except for unusual stuff.

  If you go by the Blue Book you are looking at $600-$750. My last gun show one sold for $575 with scope. That is the real world and not a bunch of people with the attitude of you ain't going to out bid me.[:)]
