??????? model 54 .300 Savage ???????

My Dad gave me this gun for my 14 birthday many years ago,I recently tried to find some info on this particular rifle and its seems like there is no info to be found, could anyone help with some direction of where to look or any info you may have would be very helpful THANKS

    A little more information would be helpful like Bolt,Lever pump or semi Auto. My guess if it's a bolt rifle that it is a store brand and was made by savage most likely a 340


    I was looking at 340 on auction side meant to say model 110 but I see that it was ID

    The only lever gun that I'm familiar with, that was chambered in 300 Savage was their Model 99, not 54. Does it look like the rifle in this photo?

    The brand of the gun is Savage, It looks exactly like the one in the picture. That Rules, model 99 then i guess. Does any one have an aprox. value of a gun like this in good condition.

    Savage Model 99's are fairly common rifles. Savage made them for something like 80 years. Go to the two large on-line gun auctions. Check the actual selling prices for 99's, in comparable condition to yours. This will at least give you a feeling, for the ball-park value on yours.
