Saiga 308 trigger upgrade problems
My Saiga 308 has the rearward trigger group and I'd like to keep it there. It has a long pull and terrible trigger slap and I'd like to replace it. I've put the Tapco G2's in my AK-47's but they won't work on the Saiga 308 unless I do the pistol grip conversion (which I don't want to do). Local gunsmiths don't do "trigger work" (except repairs) for liability reasons. I've checked all over the web and found nothing. Any ideas???

Polishing the Bearing surfaces of the working parts of the trigger may do some good for the trigger pull, But as for stopping the slap I have no clue.. The trigger on a Regular Ak is supposed to be similar to the M-1 garand so if anyone has done trigger work on a garand can probably explain what they did and why.

I don't want to move it forward because I've already fit it with a Tapco collapsing stock w/pistol grip. I'd like to do it without doing that but, if I must, I must! I am just hoping to find another way around this. 0 -

FWIW you might be in violation of 922r by adding a folding stock if you have not added enough US made parts to your gun. You did not say.0
