Question on Mayday Flare Gun

Not sure where to put this one. Have been asking around and all I get is a lot of head scratching!

I have a Flare Gun Kit that was distributed by F.I.E. Firearms Import and Export Corporation out of Miami Florida.

It is listed as a MAYDAY Marine & Aviation Distress Signal Pistol 25MM

It is one of the smallest 25mm flare pistols I have ever seen.

The kit contains:

1 Pistol
3 Flares
1 Aluminum Mounting Rack

Would like to get some history on it and a possible idea of its value.

If you know of a good link to send me too or any info on it, I'd appreciate it!

    Thanks, but been there done that both as Flare Pistol and gun, with and without the brand Mayday. That's what started my head scratching ![;)]

    Theres over a 100,000 possible Hits you can make on Flare Pistols...I don't have the time to do the search for You....Try process of elimination....Might help a bit...Try Caliber of Flares....I'll try again for you tomorrow morning....I'll spend a few minutes instead of having a Coffee Break.....Best.....
