Steel Cased Rounds
What are the opinions out there related to shooting steel cased rounds? I have an Ak, and am undecided whether or not to buy bulk steel cased ammo or brass cased ammo. I have heard a lot of bad things regarding shooting a lot steel cased ammo through a weapon, such as causing unnecessary wear to extractors. I do not know if its true though. Tell me what you think.

Well this comes up more then daily. A search on here will turn up at least hundreds of thread on the subject.

The ak was made to use steel case ammo. Buy as much as you want and shoot it freely, it wont hurt your gun at all. You can find surplus 1970's yugo Corrosive ammo that has brass cases I think, if you must have brass caseings.0
