winchester 1890 22 wrf

what would the approximate value of this fire arm be, also it looks like the barrel has been cut down at some point but i cant tell by looking at it, just assuming because i have never seen one this short. serial number is 550549.

    around here with the cutoff and condition you show, including the cracked buttstock, and no cheap ammo for shooters its about a $275 gun tops. I assume the serial #s match, if they dont thats a worse ballpark.

    The serial number tells us that it is a Third Model 1890 manufactured in May of 1914.

    Yes, the barrel has been shortened by several inches. The factory original length was 24-inches.

    The overall graded condition is NRA poor, and at least two of the major parts are not worth anything (the barrel and butt stock). It is simply a "shooter" or a parts gun. In either case, $250 is about what it is worth.
