Mauser Parts Identification
Picked up a box of old Mauser parts marked M95 & M98. Several parts were from other models which I could figure out. These 2 I have not been able to identify.
No markings on the bayonet lug other than a small circle with possibly a T or 7 inside. Could just be a scratch.
The band has the sling ring attached by a screw rather than a pin and is off-set from the band. It also has markings which I tried to pencil into the photo. The one drawing shows a line thru the "U" shaped character. This may or may not be a scratch. Showed it both ways. I have 2 of these bands, the other has no markings...thanks

Can't answer..but you should focus on one of the Mid-Eastern mausers. Don't know which one, I'm sorry to say. Stampings are not in the Western alphabet. Best, Joe 0 -
Bayo lug is an adapter for a 93/95 Spanish Mauser to take the later 98 style bayos. Need a clearer pic of the band. 0
