Retiring the .45

Good morning all, I believe that Ai have come to the conclusion tonight to retire my Glock 21 .45 ACP. It is to the point now that I can hardly afford to shoot it, and the grip is big enough that I do not have any confidence carrying it as a concealed weapon. I am considering selling it and buying a beretta PX4, that gun felt like butter in my hands. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks for all of the input.

    What guns you own/carry/have confidence in are a personal choice.
    If you want a 9MM, go for it. Put Glock up for auction. Take the cash it brings and use it to get what you want.
    Around here, store bought .45ACP hasn't gone up much if any in price. The only problem is in finding a store that has any. But that goes for 9MM too.

    keep the G21 for 2 handed house duty and get the PX for carry.

    The G21 is a hand full of gun for sure. If it does not work for you, shoot others and find one that truly feels good in yours hands.

    Then run enough rounds though it to make sure it is 100% reliable with the load you wish to use.

    I bought a rubber grip sleeve for both my 19 and 21 at the advice of a friend. Boy, that thing sure does make a differance. I have a better grip, better groups, and better confidence. I now must re-evaluate and will probably retire the .45 to home protection duty (as was suggested before in this thread).
