  Really rough guess- about 1200 fps, depending on a lot of variables. Do you know about using cookies under the bullet?

  By cookie I meant a wafer about 1/8th of inch thick, 50/50 beeswax/lard. Hollow base still expands to obturate (Gad, I have waited YEARS to use that word!) the bore. But velocity will depend on your bore, barrel length, etc. You did not mention for what rifle.....
