Lyman Perma Center Scope

Anybody know anything about a Lyman Perma Center scope? The one I have, which incidentally came on a 1903 action sporter, is 3X. What period was this scope prevalent? It's in real good shape. What might be its value if sold alone (without rings/bases)? Any thoughts much appreciated.....

  The All American line became Perma Center in 1961.price $100-$150

  I have a 4 power that was purchased in 65 or 66. They were pretty fancy in the old days.
