been wanting to rechamber single shot rifle into 32 mag (210000)...example 45-70 trap(21000)...lever(28000)...singleshot ruger(35000...now assume reline/rechamber works out OK dimensionally then 32mag should be OK??? on modern trapdoor repro like H&R...but what is take on 327 in same considering smaller shell/higher cups versus lower pressure/bigger shell original cups in same rifle???? i know you cannot directly relate cups to psi....figure this may easily work on new tip up type like NE or H&R but like the older style look like trap, RB, or sharps...curious

    The 32 Mag is still a feeble round for a rifle. It's in the 32-20 high velocity class and very undersized for large actions like the trapdoor Spfld and Ruger single shots.
    Using the standard barrel profiles for these rifles, the end result will be overweight guns.
    A low wall Winchester or Browning copy would be more to scale.
    I wouldn't worry about pressure.
    Marlin 94 is a good candidate.

    good point...looking for caliber that would allow a 0.505 OD drill out for liner with chamber no bigger...looking at single shot so could reload spire point for fun like am doing with 357 & 30-30...revamping a marlin lever would probably work finding caliber roughly same size bullet(no spire point) that would work in lifter...just a mental exercise now...was interested in an old style for 327 but that amount of effort would produce nothing fancier than what i am already doing...
