Airgun problems

My Crosman Phantom 1000 just broke. The barrel will not lock down and cock right. The spring keeps shoving the barrel up, even when I get it down all the way and it clicks, it won't stay down or cock. The first time i tried, it came back up and hit me in the face. Anybody know what is wrong?

  My webley had did the sasme thing. I'd adjusted the trigger too far, might be your problem.

  try pulling the trigger in cocked position to reset it.
