Anyone have any idea when a 94 30-30 with sn: 3628069 was made?

I just bought a winchester 94 30-30 from this auction site. Should get it in a couple day's I hope. It was manufactured in 1977. Is there anything I should Know about this rifle. Whats your opinion of it?

Pictures help .. Ive seen pre 64's go from $500-$800 in that condition. Your price from dealers will vary also so shop it around or your best bet is to list it here and get its true market value..

A dealer is not going to give you full price, as he needs to make a profit when he sells it..you would be much better listing it in your local classifieds or here on GB.

If you feel you must go thru a dealer for whatever reason,discuss selling it on consignment and make sure YOU have some control over how much he sells it for.I always come out better that way then selling it directly to the dealer.

With out good pictures it is hard to tell, but if it is close to teh condition you say it is, then it should start around 500ish and climb. If it is collector material, you will realize the most $$ from the widest advertisement. That my friend is right here on the auction side. It can be viewed around the world, not just in the dark corner of your favorate local gun shop.
