Age of Marlin 90

Anyone know the age of a Marlin Model 90 12GA serial #G4137? Also is there a web site that would have the date list? Thanks for your help. One more question, I have read two different answers about the split in the barrels. Was the split between barrels made before 49 or after? Thanks again, Mark

  blue book states G = 1950
