BERETTA 92 FS

I HAVE A 92 FS WHICH IS RELATIVELY NEW AND I KEEP IT CLEAN, BUT SOMETIMES THE SLIDE WILL NOT STAY LOCKED BACK WHEN THE LAST ROUND IS FIRED. MOST OF THE ROUNDS I SHOOT ARE CHEAPER TARGET AMMO-WHITE BOX WINCH, FED EAGLE, CCI BLASER-COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM?

    I HAVE A STAINLESS BERETTA 92 FS, AND WANTED TO KNOW IF I CAN FIRE 9MM +P+ AMMO IN IT ????????? CAN SOMEONE HELP ? THANKS

    Usually the problem will be magazine related. After the last round is fired the magazine follower pushes up slide lock lever. If your using cheap aftermarket magazines that could easily be the problem. If your using a quality magazine, make sure your not putting the magazine spring in backwards after cleaning it as it would push up on the wrong part of the bottom of the follower. Another issue could be a compressed or wearing out magazine spring.

    i have the same problem with mine it has to do with the magazine.
    i have 5 of them 3 factory 15's they all look the same so i have to mark them but it is 1 of them,i also have a 32 round promag no problems with that one feeds and locks back and the mec-gar 18 round with +2 extension no problems feeds everything and locks back.
    i also use winchester 100 round bulk box dont care for eagle seem dirtier than the rest. blazer brass if i cant find winchester bulk

    HEY LEE, WHAT WOULD BE THE PROBLEMATIC MECHANICS ON A WEAK MAGAZINE SPRING. IT SEEMS THAT WOULD GIVE A LESSER OPPOSING FORCE TO THE SLIDE LOCK LEVER AS YOU DESCRIBED.
