Colt 1936 catalog
I have a Colt 'Revolvers and Automatic Pistols' catalog, dated January 1, 1936. It's 8 pages, brown and white, and actually in pretty good shape for its age. There are some tears along the creases, nothing too major. 3 small pieces of scotch tape on the spine. A couple of excerpts: Police Positive Special Revolver, $28.50; SAA, $34.00.

It's actually pink. These style catalogs usually sell in the $30-40 range in good condition.
With some tears and tape, your catalog is fun a conversation piece, not really in collectable condition.

Thanks, Doug, I finally found the sticky on posting photos, but it's too much trouble for my taste. How can posting photos on an auction be so easy, yet so involved in the forums?
Tomh, the catalog I have is almost exactly as the one you posted, but there are some subtle differences. The phrase about the govt. excise tax (at the bottom on yours) is centered at the top, and the date is in the upper right corner, in place of the coat of arms. Also, in the introductory paragraph, instead of saying 'for exactly 100 years,' mine says 'for nearly a century.' The photos and descriptions of the guns are exactly the same.
And yeah, I'd like to have the $36 in '36. On p. I could buy that SAA and have $2 left for lots of ammo!
