Remington 141 Close Action

Do I need to do anything to close the action of the Remington 141 after emptying the chamber?

  Just pull the slide forward. Is it stuck? The case might be stuck in the chamber.

  The slide sticks without a cartridge in the chamber. Want to know if anything has to be done just to push the slide forward.

  It is a typical pump, no buttons to push to make it close. Sorry I can't help.

  I have several 141s,all you need to do to close the action is ,push the fore arm forward, If it will not close,(easily), something is binding,bent,or broken. all I can recomend is take it to your local smitty. hope this helps.
