Action length question

Can a Rem 700 in 7mm Rem mag be rebarreled to .300 Wby or .300 RUM?

I already have a 7mm Rem mag and can pick up another for a great price and thought it would make a good donor action for a project.

  Yes, it can be re-barreled for the .300 WBY or the .300 RUM. Both will require some feeding adjustments and both need new magazine boxes for the length while the RUM will need a completely different new box and a slight modification to the follower to handle the additional diameter of the cartridge case.
