Redfield SR MS
Is anyone familiar with the Redfield SR MS scope rings and mount for the 1950 Mannlicher Schoenauer Rifle? I am looking for a set.Thanks Jim Underwood.

Yes. I have a set mounted on a MCA. The 1950 Mannlicher Schoenauer that I have is not drilled and tapped for that mount. 0 -
Yes I have a set myself, and I have sold used sets. They are becoming very scarce, and are usually seen for big bucks. There are some new options, though. One is: http://msbases.wattswalnut.com He has clones of the Redfield mount bases advertised for $145 plus $5 shipping, which is cheaper than you'll likely find a set of used Redfields. They use the common Redfield rings that twist into the front base and are captured laterally by two screws at the rear base, which offers some windage adjustment. Also check out: www.scopemounts.com This is S&K Scope Mounts here in Pennsylvania. I bought a set of mounts and rings from them for my 61 MCA, and I think they are better than the Redfield style, in allowing for some windage and alignment adjustment. 0
