colt d.a. help---pics

here are pics of that colt i asked about a couple of days, rufe-snow thought it might be a 1889 navy but the serial number doesn't add up.

the serial number is 137921 on the handle, but it is marked 722 on the frame and slide release.

    It's a "New Army and Navy Model", made between 1899 & 1907. 722 is what is known as a assembly number. Looks to be in pretty good shape, can't tell from your photos if it's been refinished or not though?

    Being a .41, it wouldn't have any value as a shooter. The ammo is hard to come by, and expensive. If it's original and functional, ( locks up tight and in time ). Maybe $250 to $400 to the right person.

    Ultramax makes cowboy loads for it. I bought 5 boxes last year from Jerry's Sports Center, Forest City PA at 60.00+ dollars a box. I have a 1st generation SAA in 41 LC tha is lettered and made in 1897. I still shoot it today...112 years old.
