1907 wsl magazine problem

the magazine will not stay in gun, upon firing it comes out about 1/2" then it will not cycle the next round into the chamber.it does it with a full(10 rounds)mag. or anytime up to the last round. Magazine catch is engaging the mag. correctly and it does not look like it was messed with. I have tried max loads, 19 grs IMR 4227 & 180 gr. bullet down to 17 gr & 180 gr. bullit. any ideas? PS It is a orig. factory 10 rd mag.Thanks in advance

    Do you have another magazine to check the rifle with? I would tend to suspect the magazine itself.

    Also, you might be interested in this forum: some folks knowledgeable about 07's hang around there.
