Enfield vs Mauser 45 ACP Conversion

I have seen Enfield conversions to 45 ACP, is there a similar conversion for a Mauser? If not why the Enfield only, cheaper?

  Not any more, unless you do it custom yourself. Rhineland Arms used to make the kits.
  
  Why Enfield vs. Mauser? The Enfield was converted by the Brits during WW2 w/ a silencer, which made the DeLilse (sp?) carbine.
  
  I wanted to convert my spanish mauser, about a week after Rhineland stopped the kits. They told me they got barrels from Shaw to do it.
  
  I've seen on a machining forum a conversion a guy did, he even cut the receiver to make it shorter, etc.
