AR 10 and AR 15

I am looking to purchase a AR 15 5.56 and AR 10 7.62. I am going to use the 5.56 for defense and below 200 meters shooting. Th 7.62 to be used for long rang accurate shooting. What make/models provide the best for what I am looking for.

  I like Rock Rivers for both, seem to get the best bang for the buck. And my Rock River LAR-8 7.62 uses cheap FAL magazines.
