S&W M-27 6 inch value???

I have a S&W model 27 6inch bbl in 99% like new condition that was purchased in 1975. The wood and blueing are like new
and has less than 1 box of 38spl. put through it.

can anyone give me a fair and accurate value based on this information?

  Check the "for sale" listings and make a comparison....then decide.

  The S&W 27s (any of the N frames for that matter) have been going up in value considerably over the past few years. The advice to check the auction side is good (particularly the completed auctions to see what they actually sold for versus the offering prices). The last 27 (five inch at about 98%) I bought was $325 but that was ten years ago. I think you'd get in the $600+ range for a 99+% six inch pinned and recessed 27 especially if you have the original box and papers.
