WHICH BARREL IS BETTER FOR A AR-15 CHROME MOLY OR STAINLESS ??????

  There is no significant difference in accuracy between CM & stainless barrels of the same weight made by the same manufacturer, but stainless may be easier to clean.
  
  For serious resistance to corrosion, there's another type: chrome lined CM. However, because the chrome lining is not consistent, there is a sacrifice in accuracy.

  Depends on the intended use. For bull barrel varmint guns I like stainless, for everything else its Chrome Moly and if its a combat or HD gun, chrome lined all the way.

  Its not which is better, look more at the manufacturer. There are so many different grades of hardness and quality in barrel you cant just put it between stainless and chrome moly. Be sure not to get a chrome moly barrel confused with chrome lined. Most commercial AR 15 barrels are NOT chrome lined. Model one sales has good quality barrels, and for an extra $15 have the option to get hard chrome lined. If you have the money I'd highly recommend either a polygonal rifled Noveske barrel or a Larue Tactical low sulfur stainless barrel. They should provide good service life and excellent accuracy for a rifle. If you want match quality, say you wanna compete at camp perry or something maybe go with a krieger heavy weight match barrel. Thats another thing thats going to effect accuracy is barrel weight, and length. The heavier the more consistant it will be with heat expansion and harmonic vibration. And don't forget about twist rate and actually load your planning on shooting.
