Winchester Medallion

Has anybody ever removed a medallion from the stock without damaging either ? BT

    One possibility, though it may not meet your criteria of "not damaging".
    Take the smallest drill bit you have and drill through the stock from the opposite side, stopping as soon as you hit the medallion. Now knock it out with a like diameter punch; do what you have to do, replace the medallion and patch the small round hole. Of course this assumes that you're only dealing with a press fit into the wood.
