Ferlach SxS shotguns

I have two Ferlach SxS, a 12g and a 20g, the maker was Benedikt Winkler and I believe one was made in 1945 and the other in 1946. I am trying to find someone who I could send pics to in order to get approximate values for selling them. If you can help me please let me know and give me an email address to send pics.     If none of our folks, can help you? Post to the forums on www.shotgunworld.com Many very knowledgeable shotgun collectors/dealers hang their. Quite a number our from the other side of the pond. It would be best if you could post quality close-up photos of all markings, engraving, proofs etc.

    I haven't had time (or reason to take pics yet) I just had knee surgery on Friday and didn't feel like it would be worth the effort until I got a reply. I will get them out this evening and snap off a few. Thank you guys.

    First off, thank you for taking the time to make these photographs. It certainly helps to actually see the firearm in question.

    Ferlach is the heart of true custom gunmaking at it's finest. There have been hundreds of small, individual shops that produce handmade firearms for hunters, shooters and collectors. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to track down information on each and every individual gunmaker. BlueBook has some information that may be helpful as far as the Ferlach gunmakers are concerned.     The 37/101 I think is a choke reference but I'm scratching my head trying to pin it down. Maybe one of the other members has his book handy and can check for you.

    The wood is a little dry and showing a couple of small cracks. But the engraving, in my opinion is really terrific!
