I bought a 12 ga Geha Remo Shotgun and I have heard that they should not be shot because the bolts are weak. Is this true because I was pretty sure that a 98 Mauser action was stout enough for magnum rifle calibers, so why wouldnt it be alright for a 12 ga?

all the 12 ga. 'GEHA's' I've seen are 2 3/4" chambered, check the proof markings. there should be a '70' in there somplace meaning 70mm=2 3/4". these are very 'shootable' as long as the bolt head is in place

Yes they are 2 3/4 chambered. I have one. I shoot trap and dove loads in it. Fun little piece of German ingenuity.
