Colt revolver in 32 H&R Magnum?

Did Colt ever make a double action revolver in 32 H&R Mag? My neighbor has one, its a Colt 6 shot revolver, 3" barrel, kind of looks like a Police Positive, but the barrel is stamped 32 H&R Magnum. The stamping looks professionally done, but it does not look like Colt factory stampings. It is possible that someone took a 32 revolver and reamed out the chambers to make a 32 mag out of it?

    32 S&W Long runs to about 14,000 PSI, .32 H&R Magnum runs to about 24,000 PSI, the new .327 Magnum runs to about 45,000 PSI.

    I wonder if a conversion from 32 to 32mag would be safe to shoot?

    During the early 1980's, Numrich sold a conversion kit for the Detective Special - Police Positive size Colts that consisted of a 3" Barrel & a Cylinder that was chambered for the H & R 32 Magnum.

    Thanks, I will have to take a closer look at the cylinder to see if its Colt marked or not.
