bipod question

this may seem kind of dumb but i have a crack barrel pellet rifle made by gamo and i was wondering if there is any way i can attach a bipod to it. i am kind of new to all of this so go easy on me. the tricky part is that the stock splits on the for-end so that the barrel cam come down. i have seen the barrel mounting bipods for airsoft and the likes but was advised to stay away from them as they are cheap and break. not to mention putting weight on the barrel seems like i might have stress problems later in the gun.

  Many/most bipods attach via a sling swivel. You could add one far enough back to not interfere with the barrel as it is being cocked.

  The usual term for these air rifles is "break barrel".
  
  +1 for the sling swivel idea, if you can find a place on the guns forearm to put it.
