  I would say that it sold for about what it is worth. I have seen really nice Model 64 Deer Rifles sell for almost twice that amount.

  I wish that I knew more about the 64s, I know where there is one sitting on a rack in a shop that looks better than that for a grand.

  Cabelas has a few 64's that they are asking $800 to $900. Appear in nice shape.
