argentine/brazil 45 acp
colt copy, left slide DGFM ( FMAP) right slide, policia dela provincia de buernos aires 739xx frame 739xx, matching ser #, then GAI or GA1 mia fla cal 22 lr . magazine meggar mfg made in italy , then the extra slide for 22, is BATTAN bbl ( 22) ,
just curious what exactly this is, figured it was a 1927 model, and has parts bag with 22 magazine no markings, and etra grooved mainspring housing, recoil spring guide, recoil spring,firng pin and spring , slide stop, bbl link , and ejector, this looks like the orig 45 parts, i picked it up at a local auction and couldnt resist, and compliments my RR 1911A1, I really cannot find much info on this fine 45/22 in excellent condition. I figured a gunsmith in mia fla may have made the 22 kit, slide, bbl and everything internal and thinking mfg date is in mid 50's, so if anyone has any info on this, i would appreciate it, will try to post pics later on, thanks

imported by CAI =century arms international there were 2 firms that reto fited the guns in argentina the first retroed guns for the police and so marked on the slide also know as the argentine ace company was venturini..it had a conversion like colts with floating chamber.yours is the other firm..is yours a floating chamber type or a solid barrel nice find 0 -
i dont really know, the 22 has bbl bushing and recoil spring plug, that seems different than the 45 in other slide, it seems like it does not come out like the 45's do, it just looks like a solid bbl ( bull bbl), on top rear of slide by sights, is ser # again, but no other markings or letters on frame or extra frame but 45 acp is stamped on bbl, both bbl bores 22 and 45 look nice shiney and new. price i got this kit for was 575, which i thought was a bargain, but i also got a mint 1953 model 70 30-06 with old hawk 4x scope with leather scope covers, 1955 M12 trap and 1913 1897 riot shot gun, new handguns and ammo are in short supply and dealer i talked to he is 120 days out on getting ammo and if he puts in an order for 33 pistols, he may only get 3, and auction prices seem to trend
towards any small hand gun for ccw, the price going through the roof and dealers cannot keep up due to mfg not having any firearms warehoused.

both receivers have no slide scroll marks,

Great pistols and the 22 top end we need to see clear IN FOCUS picture of slide roll marks. 0 -
Here is what i was able to find out, a Sistema Colt licensed copy with Colt machinery, no crest, issued to Buenos Aires Police Dept, Marcarti conversion 22 lr, all blue finish not parkerized , crisp rifling in both bores 0
