WW II CZ model 27 Nazi nickel/chrome

Is anyone familiar enough with this handgun to know whether the factory produced a "bright" version?

Not a factory finish, IMHO. It was quite common for the G.I's to have their souvenir guns nickel plated. In addition to the common CZ 27's and 1922 Brownings, i've seen some Lugers and P-38's nickeled, that made me want to cry.

So, I've heard. Cept the eagle/swaztica stamps on frame and bolt are very crisp??

They would stay "crisp", if the pistol wasn't polished on a buffing wheel prior to plating. Pop a original condition pistol into a nickel plating tank, without doing anything to it, and thats what its going to look like.
