870 rem loose rib

I have a 870 rem in the middle of the barrel one of the mount point is loose, Anyone know how the vent rib attaches and can I soldier it back on.

  the rib is 'dove-tailed' to the top of each post, there is a pin at the front post that holds the rib in place (may-be one at the rear also, it been a 'while') they are very hard to see. after removing these pins the rib can be slid off towards the front. the posts are spot welded or brazed to the barrel, soft solder will work for a repair.
