Can someone tell me if there is supposed to be a steel end peace on the fore end stock where it meets the receiver on a j stevens 12ga. dbl brl.and if so where to find it along with the lock that holds the forstock to the brl.

  Yes you are missing a part[:(] many people refer to this part as FORE-ARM IRON. Try Gun Parts INC
