UZI model "A" value

What is the value of an UZI model "A" with a register pre 1986 fullauto bolt?

    The bolts are actually selling for around $4800-$5000.
    A good model A is around $1200
    So $6000- $6200 around here

    cper,i'm thinking here outloud,if it's a pre 86 would that make it a dealer sample,and only a LEO or a dealer can own?

    sigh...dealer samples....my PD has a couple beautiful mint MP-5s with sequential serial numbers. I was shopping them around to sell to fund our Patrol Rifle Program....unfortunately they turned out to be Dealer Samples which essentially made them worthless....about $750 a piece for parts, dealors could only use them for parts, could not transfer the receivers(no market in LE for used MP-5s)....had they not been they would have been worth 15-20K.

    I agree with cpermd. Uzi's go for between about $5500 and $8000 depending on make, model, and goodies.

    It was '86 and prior that you could still legally make MG. It is true that there are Pre '86 dealer samples that have different rules then Post '86 dealer samples.

    I am not sure what attitude you are talking about since I deal in fact. You need to go back and read up on types of MG. Please post a link to your source.

    There are 3 types of Full Auto gun

    1) Transferable MG. These guns were made prior to the ban of 1986. The 1986 ban stopped the manufacture of MG for private sale. Just is just shy of 200,000 of these types of guns. SInce there is no restriction of sale and the finite number they command the highest price.

    2) Pre 1986 dealer samples. These guns were made prior to May 1986 but were never transferable to private parties. These guns can be transfered either to LEO or NFA dealers. The Pre '86 dealer samples can be held by dealers even if they give up there NFA status. These guns get about 80% of the price of transferables.

    3) Post 1986 dealer samples. These are guns that were made after the 1986 ban went into effect. These guns are only for sale to LEO/"qualified" buyers. To get one of these guns not only do you have to have SOT but you have to have an LEO demo letter. If the SOT gives up his license he either needs to transfer or destroy any machine guns in stock. Since these gun are in current production they cost what normal semi auto versions cost.

    pre 86 uzi...only for SOT and/dealers/leo's...if SOT gives up his class 3 they need to give the pre 86 uzi's up...i'm only referring to uzi sub's only...THIS IS FROM THE UZI FORUM,so if you get a attitude take it up with them...

    Reading comprehension 101.
    It has a :"registered full auto bolt"
    That means the bolt is the registered MG, not the Uzi.
    The Uzi itself is a regular semi firearm.
    Read my post and learn a bit.
    Or learn more before you post you "facts".
