Burris scopes

I put a 6-18x40 Fullfield on my 220 swift and I love it. It is the original fullfield, not the II. It was 250.00 used. I am looking at the same scope from the same guy for my 6mm Remington 98 Mauser. I was checking prices and it appears that they have come down a bit. Has something changed at or with Burris? Has anyone heard anything?

    Can someone tell me the difference between the Burris Euro-Diamond and the Burris Black Diamond. Thank You

    I am not sure about the price points for Burris. I do know that dollar for dollar they are a shining example of a fantastic product, backed by an awesome company with a unbelievably solid warranty.

    If you like the FULLFIELD line wait until you can get a signature or a Euro Diamond. all I can say is WOW! They are super.

    Make sure you put the scopes into Burris Signature rings, it makes the whole package that much better.

    Yes, something has changed. They moved production of the Fullfields and Timbelines to overseas. I believe they are made in the Philippines. I have several US made and foreign made Burris scopes and can't really tell the difference between them. Burris claims that the scopes are made to the exact same specs as when they were made in the US, and they still have the great warranty.

    The scope comes with Burris signature zee rings. It has been the best scope I have ever owned.

    I had one of those originals, and put it on a T/C Contender Carbine using two of duo ring mounts. One in each set of holes at the rear of the barrel and the rear sight. That was a great gun and scope. The scope was the target model with 1/8th adjustments and target turrets. You can't go wrong with Burris, even though I dislike them double tiering their production....some here in USA and some there in Philippines. Should zero a set of crosshairs on the corperate bean counter that moved jobs over there.

    I agree, but thats a different post for a different day.

    I went with the Burris originally on the advice of you fellas and I am sure glad I did.

    I HAVE A BURRIS 3X12 PISTOL SCOPE ON MY 218 BEE AND I HATE IT. I CAN NOT GET THE EYE RELEIF TO SEE OUT OF IT. OTHERS TELL ME ITS FINE. ANYWAY OUT IT GOES. I HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER SOPE WITH BETTER EYE RELEIF. ANY SUGGESTIONS. OAK

    I just sold off a Bausch & Lomb model 4000 with the intention of taking the money and buying a comparable Burris. Am considering doing the same with my several Leupolds. Though not for the reason I sold off the B&L, which was the lack of easy factory warranty. Currently I own a half a dozen assorted Burris rifle scopes and am very happy with each. The one time I recieved a NIB 1.5x5 fullfield that had problems, the folks a Burris's warranty center made a believer out of me. No, questions asked and no money either. I sent it to them and they sent me back one in perfect condition. You just can't do better then that......

    Burris gives you the most bang for a buck. There warranty can't be beat.
